This collection rises from the barrel of a black-powder cannon—pigment blasted across canvas the same way the frontier carved itself into the 1800s Midwest: violently, bravely, without permission. Every shot becomes a record of impact, capturing the raw ambition that built early America.

By merging historical weaponry with contemporary mark-making, I pull the past straight into the present and ask viewers to step into the fire with me. These paintings salute the pioneers who came before while carving out a new frontier of my own in American art.
